Firefighters rescue blind, deaf dog named Fluffy who was trapped in Duarte storm drain

An LA County Fire Department urban search-and-rescue team responded to the scene and went to work on saving the small animal.

Los Angeles County firefighters rescued a member of a Duarte family Sunday night.

A blind, deaf dog named Fluffy fell into a storm drain, fire officials said.

Firefighters from LA County Station 44 and members of the department’s Urban Search and Rescue Team climbed down into the drain and pulled out the small dog.

It was unclear how the dog got into the storm drain.
