Dave’s Hot Chicken has come up with an answer to Ozempic weight control: Mini Sliders.
The snack comes in orders of four, with chicken, kale slaw, a pickle slice and a drizzle of Dave’s Sauce on a bitesized potato bun.
Sliders are available in three heats: no spice, medium and hot.
Mini Sliders will go on sale Tuesday, April 15. The price is around $7.49 or $10.49 with fries.
Based on the idea that smaller portions are good for diners, Dave’s will be decorating its Mini Sliders boxes with a “Davezempic” prescription for a limited time, according to a news release from the Pasadena-based chain.
Founded as a food truck in Los Angeles in 2017, Dave’s Hot Chicken has grown to nearly 300 locations nationwide. Its menu mainly consists of chicken tenders, sliders and sides.
Beverages include loaded shakes and slushies.
