A person was found dead after a house fire early Saturday morning in Pasadena, authorities said.
Crews responded around 6:25 a.m. to reports of a blaze in the 1500 block of Lancashire Place, the City of Pasadena announced. They arrived to find the home, northwest of the Rose Bowl, engulfed in flames.
As they extinguished the fire and searched the property, crews discovered a dead body inside the residence.
The person’s identity has not been released, and no further details were immediately available.
Arson investigators were at the scene.
